Jennifer Chow Lee is Vice President, Grantmaking at HRiA.

She previously served as the Managing Director for Community Âé¶¹Ö±²¥Grantmaking. Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in grantmaking and program planning. Prior to joining HRiA, she served as program officer – for more than 10 years – at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation. In this role, she provided oversight to grantmaking programs focused on social equity, outreach and enrollment, and capacity building to further the Foundation’s mission of expanding access to health care. This includes Going Beyond Âé¶¹Ö±²¥Care, a grant program which supports interdisciplinary teams of social service and health care partners, for which HRiA serves as the evaluating partner. She has also served in positions with Âé¶¹Ö±²¥Care For All and the AmeriCorps Promise Fellowship Program. Jennifer has held several board appointments and completed notable fellowships including the Massachusetts Institute for Community Âé¶¹Ö±²¥Leadership and the Terrance Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Âé¶¹Ö±²¥Philanthropy. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston College, and a master’s degree in public health from Tufts University School of Medicine’s Public Âé¶¹Ö±²¥and Professional Degree program. In her role, she provides strategic leadership for our biomedical, racial equity, and community grantmaking portfolios.
